In order to drain water from the natural gas well, the plunger lift system is widely used in natural gas extraction. The design of the plunger in the system plays a crucial role in improving the efficiency of gas extraction and drainage. This project is dedicated to designing a new plunger for Well Master.
項(xiàng)目目標(biāo)
At present, the existing plungers either have fast falling speed but poor sealing performance or have good sealing performance but slow falling speed. We need to combine the advantages of the existing products to design a plunger with fast falling speed and good sealing performance at the same time.
項(xiàng)目成果
The plunger’s flow characteristics are determined using CFD analysis and are better than the existing products. The design is proved robust enough to endure the impact during its working process using ANSYS Explicit Dynamics. The plunger is manufactured and will be recently tested in production environment.
