一、學科簡介 Introduction
本學科始建于交通大學1913年創(chuàng)立的電氣機械科,1921年建立機械科,自1956年開始招收研究生,是首批有權(quán)授予碩士和博士學位的學科,1998年獲得我國首批一級學科博士授予權(quán),并擁有博士后流動站。在教育部2008和2012年學科評估中均排名第一,2015年入選上海市I類高峰學科支持計劃,2017年教育部學科評估列為A+學科,并入選國家“雙一流”建設學科。
Mechanical Engineering of SJTU can be dated back to the initation of the electromechanics branch by Jiao Tong University in 1913, which was later reorganized as the mechanical branch in 1921 and started to enroll graduate students in 1956 as one of the first disciplines entitled to have master and PhD programs. The discipline was amongst the first batch of universities in 1998 authorized to confer doctoral degree as well as postdoctoral fellows. The discipline ranked first in the discipline assessments by Ministry of Education in 2008 and 2012. In 2015, it was selected into “Shanghai Class I Peak Discipline Support Plan”. In 2017, it was ranked A+ in the discipline assessment and was selected as the national “Double First Class” academic discipline.
本學科覆蓋了機械制造及自動化、機械設計及理論、機械電子工程和車輛工程等4個rr本學科設有制造技術(shù)與裝備自動化、智能制造與信息工程、機器人、重大裝備設計與控制工程、生物醫(yī)學制造與生命質(zhì)量工程、機電控制與物流裝備、機電設計與知識工程、振動沖擊噪聲、薄板結(jié)構(gòu)制造、智能汽車10個研究所。擁有機械系統(tǒng)與振動國家重點實驗室、汽車電子控制技術(shù)國家工程實驗室、振動沖擊噪聲國防重點學科實驗室,以及復雜薄板結(jié)構(gòu)數(shù)字化制造、網(wǎng)絡制造與企業(yè)信息化兩個上海市重點實驗室。已形成175人的專職教師隊伍,包括院士2人、973首席科學家5人、國家特聘專家3人、長江特聘教授8人、杰青7人、優(yōu)青8人。學科中青年學術(shù)隊伍積極服務國家先進制造領(lǐng)域發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略,在國內(nèi)外產(chǎn)生了重要影響。
Department of mechanical engineering covers 4 subdisciplines: mechanical manufacturing and automation, mechanical design and theory, mechatronic engineering, and vehicle engineering. There are 10 research institutes in the department, including Manufacturing Technology and Equipment Automation, Intelligent Manufacturing and Information Engineering, Robotics, Design and Control Engineering for Heavy Equipment, Biomedical Manufacturing and Life Quality Engineering, Mechatronics & Logistics Equipment, Mechatronics Design and Knowledge-based Engineering, Vibration, Shock & Noise, Manufacture for Thin-walled Structures, and Intelligent Vehicles. The main research laboratories in the department include the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical System and Vibration, the National Engineering Laboratory for Automotive Electronic Control Technology, the National Defense Key Discipline Laboratory of Vibration Shock & Noise, Shanghai Key Laboratory of Digital Manufacture for Thin-walled Structures, and Shanghai Key Laboratory of Networked Manufacturing and Enterprise Information.So far, there are 175 full-time faculty members, including 2 academicians, 5 Chief Scientists of National 973 Program, 3 National Distinguished Professors, 8 Cheung Kong Distinguished Professors, 7 Distinguished Young Scholars and 8 Outstanding Young Scholars.
本學科致力于培養(yǎng)具有“開闊的國際視野、強烈的創(chuàng)新意識、系統(tǒng)的知識結(jié)構(gòu)、綜合的實踐能力、團隊的合作精神、自信的溝通能力”的機械工程學科高層次科學技術(shù)研究及管理人才。一百多年來,服務國家創(chuàng)新發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略和國家需求,培養(yǎng)了兩彈一星功臣錢學森、全國人大副委員長嚴雋琪等一大批技術(shù)專家和治國英才,其中兩院院士21人,大批培養(yǎng)學生在制造、動力、能源、航空航天等重點領(lǐng)域行業(yè)擔任重要職務或技術(shù)骨干。
This department aims to cultivate outstanding talents in R&D as well as management in mechanical engineering, featured with "broad international vision, strong innovation consciousness, professional knowledge structure, comprehensive practical ability, team spirit and confident communication ability". In the past over 100 years, nearly 30,000 students have graduated from the department to serve the nation with innovation, research and development, including Tsien Hsue-shen, Yan Junqi, and 21 academicians. Many alumni have played important roles in key industries such as manufacturing, power, energy, and aerospace, etc.
二、培養(yǎng)目標 Program Objective
圍繞學校研究生人才培養(yǎng)的總體目標,培養(yǎng)數(shù)理基礎堅實、知識結(jié)構(gòu)寬廣,專業(yè)領(lǐng)域知識精通,創(chuàng)新能力強、具備社會責任感、具有國際視野和國際競爭力的機械工程前沿領(lǐng)域?qū)I(yè)人才,能勝任高等教育專業(yè)教學、科學研究、技術(shù)研發(fā)和科技管理等工作。
學生畢業(yè)時應達到:
1、具有優(yōu)秀的數(shù)理基礎理論知識,深入的機械工程相關(guān)方向基礎知識,熟悉學科的進展、動向和最新發(fā)展前沿;
2、掌握解決工程問題的現(xiàn)代研究方法與實驗技術(shù),具有應用理論和方法對相關(guān)專業(yè)方向工程問題的理解和分析的能力;
3、具有較強的創(chuàng)新意識,在本學科某一方向取得實踐性研究成果;
4、至少精通一門外國語,能熟練地閱讀本專業(yè)外文資料,具有較強的寫作能力和國際學術(shù)交流的能力;
5、具備優(yōu)秀的工程實踐能力、良好的職業(yè)道德和社會責任感。
The postgraduate education objective is focused on nurturing the talents with solid mathematical foundation, broad knowledge structure, high proficiency in a professional field, strong innovation ability, good sense of social responsibility, and global vision and competitiveness in the frontier of mechanical engineering. The postgraduates will be qualified for conducting teaching, research and management in universities, research institutions and industries.
Upon graduation, you will:
1. Have the excellent mathematical foundation, in-depth fundamental knowledge in mechanical engineering and related areas, and be familiar with the progress, trends and latest development of the discipline;
2. Master the modern research methods and experimental techniques to solve engineering problems, and have the ability to apply theories and approaches to understand and analyze technical engineering problems in related professional directions;
3. Have a strong sense of innovation, and get practical contribution in a specific area of the discipline;
4. Show proficiency in at least one foreign language, read foreign language literature of your major fluently, and have good skills in writing and international academic communicating;
5. Have good engineering practice ability, professional ethics and social responsibility.
三、培養(yǎng)方式及學習年限 Training Mode and Study Duration
全日制專業(yè)碩士生采用全日制學習、導師負責制培養(yǎng)模式;新生入學后兩周內(nèi)經(jīng)師生互選確定導師。
學制為二年半。基地生培養(yǎng)方式為1年校內(nèi)+1.5年企業(yè)。未能按時完成學業(yè)者,經(jīng)申請批準后其學習年限可適當延長,最長可以延期至三年半。
Full-time Professional Master Program students tutored full-time by supervisors. The intended supervisor is determined by mutual selection between professors and students within two weeks after enrollment.
The length of Full-time Professional Master Program is 2.5 years. The mode for Joint-training students is 1 year on-campus+1.5 years in enterprises. Students who fail to complete the program within 2.5 years could apply for extension, with a maximum length of 3.5 years upon approval.
四、課程學習要求 Course Requirement
全日制專業(yè)型碩士生,課程總學分≥23學分,本院開設的全英文課程、專業(yè)前沿課,至少選擇2門。其中:選擇GPA統(tǒng)計源的課程≥16學分,GPA≥2.7方可以進行論文答辯。
Full-time Professional Master Program. Minimum credits: 23 credits, including at least 16 credits from GPA courses. One English-teaching course is required. Students whose GPA of the GPA courses is above 2.7 are eligible for doctoral study.

d. GE6001學術(shù)寫作、規(guī)范與倫理,1學分,必修,院系開課
GE6001 Academic Writing, Norms and Ethics, 1 credit, compulsory offered by ME school.
e. GE6003 實驗室安全教育,0.5學分,必修,院系開課
GE6003 Laboratory Safety Education,0.5 credit, compulsory, offered by ME school.
f. 數(shù)學課,數(shù)學公共基礎課至少修習1門、學分不限,必修

2. 專業(yè)前沿課:GE8001專業(yè)實踐,1學分,必修
Frontier Course.
GE8001 Professional Practice, 1 credit, compulsory.
3. 專業(yè)基礎課:至少修習6學分;ME6566 復雜系統(tǒng)的設計與實踐,3學分,所有專碩生必修,如本科已修項目式實踐教學設計課程,可申請免修。

五、培養(yǎng)過程要求 Training Requirement
基地生的培養(yǎng)環(huán)節(jié)(開題、中期考核、答辯)由校企聯(lián)合組織。所有學生的各環(huán)節(jié)的具體要求如下:
The training sessions (Proposal, Intermediate Evaluation and Defense) of the Joint-training students are organized by the college and enterprises. The specific requirements of each session for all students are as follows:
開題報告:在第三學期起開題。開題報告要求就學位論文選題的科學根據(jù)、目的意義、研究內(nèi)容、預期目標、研究方法和課題條件等做出論證,并由導師組織3~5位教授加以審核。
Thesis proposal: Thesis proposal work will start in the 3th semester, which requires an argument on the scientific basis, purpose and significance, research content, expected goals, research methods, and project conditions of intended thesis topic and shall be evaluated by 3 or 5 professors invited by supervisor.
年度報告(論文中期考核):在開題報告完成后,第四學期。由碩士生本人提交、導師給出評語、學科、學院審核。年度報告的形式也可以結(jié)合學術(shù)討論會或?qū)n}研究報告會進行。年度報告的內(nèi)容含:1、已完成的論文工作、階段性成果。2、下一步工作內(nèi)容、擬發(fā)表論文計劃等。3、導師對已有工作的評價、以后工作的估計和指導。
Annual report (Thesis Project Intermediate Evaluation): The evaluation usually takes place in the 4th semester after thesis proposal gets passed. The report shall be submitted by students with supervisor’s given comments, which will go through the evaluation of each department and school as well. The format of the annual report can also be done in the form of academic discussion or symposium on selected topics. The contents of the annual report include: 1. Completed thesis-related work and periodic results. 2. The content of the next-phase work and plans on paper publications. 3. Supervisor's evaluation of the finished work, estimation and guidance of the future work.
論文答辯:在第五學期結(jié)束前后完成。論文答辯由一級學科統(tǒng)一組織,各一級學科推舉后15%的同學到學院層面上進行二次答辯。
Thesis Defense: The defense shall be held before the end of 5th semester by the discipline. Those who ranks in the last 15% shall attend the second defense organized by school.
實踐實習環(huán)節(jié):
本專業(yè)全日制專業(yè)學位生需要完成1個學分GE8001《專業(yè)實踐》、6個學分社會實踐課程ME6564《復雜系統(tǒng)的設計與實踐》。
《專業(yè)實踐》:基地聯(lián)培生將由聯(lián)培基地單位給予成績考核與評定。
《復雜系統(tǒng)的設計與實踐》:所有專碩生必修,如本科已修項目式實踐教學設計課程,可申請免修。
Practical Internship: Students shall completed the study of a one-credit course named Professional practice (GE8001) and a six-credit social practice course(ME6564: Design and Practice of Complex System)

六、學術(shù)成果要求 Requirement on Academic Requirement
(一)對于碩士研究生在學期間發(fā)表論文的要求如下:
Paper Publication Requirements for master students:
1、每位碩士生在申請學位論文答辯之前,必須在核心期刊等重要刊物上以第一作者身份發(fā)表或錄用至少一篇論文,或者導師為第一作者本人為第二作者發(fā)表兩篇論文。
It is required that the students should have at least 1 paper accepted/published by/in core journals as the first author, or at least 2 papers accepted/published by/in core journals as the second author, in which case his/her supervisor shall be the first author.
2、發(fā)表學術(shù)論文必須以上海交大名義發(fā)表。
The affiliation of the first author should be Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU)
(二)實踐成果
實踐成果類型主要包括產(chǎn)品設計、方案設計等形式,鼓勵結(jié)合工程前沿技術(shù)研究、重大工程設計、新產(chǎn)品或新裝置研制等進行完成。
產(chǎn)品設計形式。“產(chǎn)品”指通過作者的實踐活動產(chǎn)生具有實用性、創(chuàng)新性、科學性的智力成果,類型可以包括機電產(chǎn)品、設備或裝備等多種類型的工程產(chǎn)品。產(chǎn)品設計由“產(chǎn)品展示”和“產(chǎn)品設計報告”兩部分組成。產(chǎn)品設計應體現(xiàn)作者掌握本專業(yè)領(lǐng)域堅實的基礎理論和系統(tǒng)的專業(yè)知識,具有運用科學方法、技術(shù)手段、人文和環(huán)保知識等解決工程實際問題的能力。
方案設計形式。“方案設計”指綜合運用專業(yè)領(lǐng)域的基礎理論、專業(yè)知識、科學方法、專業(yè)技術(shù)手段與技術(shù)經(jīng)濟知識,融入人文和環(huán)保理念,對工程實踐中具有較高技術(shù)含量的工程項目、設備、裝備及其工藝等開展的設計活動。方案設計由“方案展示”和“方案設計報告”兩部分組成。方案設計應體現(xiàn)作者掌握本專業(yè)領(lǐng)域堅實的基礎理論和系統(tǒng)的專業(yè)知識,成果應具備新穎性、合理性與實際應用價值。
產(chǎn)品設計、方案設計的選題要求、內(nèi)容要求、規(guī)范性要求、創(chuàng)新與貢獻要求、實踐成果展示及評鑒、評價要素等,參照全國工程專業(yè)學位研究生教育指導委員會《工程類專業(yè)學位類別碩士學位論文基本要求》執(zhí)行。
七、學位論文 Thesis/dissertation
1、學位論文的基本要求Basic Requirements
碩士學位論文,要求對所研究的課題有新見解或新成果,并對本學科發(fā)展或經(jīng)濟建設、社會進步有一定意義,表明作者掌握堅實的基礎理論和系統(tǒng)的學科知識,具有從事學術(shù)研究或擔負專門技術(shù)工作的能力。
The master students should choose topics related to the frontier field of the discipline or that of great significance to the progress of science and technology or economic and social development as their dissertation theme. The doctoral dissertation should demonstrate that the author is capable of undertaking scientific research independently and has a good grasp of the basic theories as well as a systematic and in-depth knowledge of the field of study.
學位論文必須是一篇系統(tǒng)的、完整的學術(shù)論文,是學位申請者本人在導師的指導下獨立完成的研究成果,論文不得抄襲和剽竊他人成果。學位論文的學術(shù)觀點必須明確,且立論正確,推理嚴謹,數(shù)據(jù)可靠,層次分明,文字通暢。
A graduate dissertation shall be a systematic and complete academic paper, and should be completed by the applicant under the instruction of his/her supervisor. No cheating or plagiarizing is allowed. The graduate theses shall demonstrate clear academic insights, with accurate arguments, rigorous reasonings, reliable statistics, well-organized structures and fluent expressions.
2、學位論文的撰寫要求Format for Thesis
學位論文應使用中文撰寫,碩士學位論文字數(shù)一般為4~5萬。學位論文中使用的術(shù)語、符號、代號必須全文統(tǒng)一并符合規(guī)范化要求。計量單位一律采用國務院發(fā)布的《中華人民共和國法定計量單位》。學位論文一般包括以下12部分,依次為封面、題名頁、扉頁、摘要、目錄、符號說明(非必須)、正文、參考文獻、注釋(非必須)、附錄(非必須)、致謝、學術(shù)論文和科研成果目錄。
The thesis should be written in Chinese. The terms, symbols and codes used in the dissertation must be unified and conform to the requirements of standardization. All units of measurement shall adopt the "Statutory Unit of the People's Republic of China" promulgated by the State Council. The dissertation generally consists of the following 12 parts: cover, title page, flyleaf, abstracts, contents, List of Symbols (if necessary), main body, reference, annotation (if necessary), appendix (if necessary), acknowledgements, List of Publications and achievements.
