一、學(xué)科簡介 Introduction

本學(xué)科始建于交通大學(xué)1913年創(chuàng)立的電氣機(jī)械科,1921年建立機(jī)械科,自1956年開始招收研究生,是首批有權(quán)授予碩士和博士學(xué)位的學(xué)科,1998年獲得我國首批一級(jí)學(xué)科博士授予權(quán),并擁有博士后流動(dòng)站。在教育部20082012年學(xué)科評(píng)估中均排名第一,2015年入選上海市I類高峰學(xué)科支持計(jì)劃,2017年教育部學(xué)科評(píng)估列為A+學(xué)科,并入選國家“雙一流”建設(shè)學(xué)科。

Mechanical Engineering of SJTU can be dated back to the initation of the electromechanics branch by Jiao Tong University in 1913, which was later reorganized as the mechanical branch in 1921 and started to enroll graduate students in 1956 as one of the first disciplines entitled to have master and PhD programs. The discipline was amongst the first batch of universities in 1998 authorized to confer doctoral degree as well as postdoctoral fellows. The discipline ranked first in the discipline assessments by Ministry of Education in 2008 and 2012. In 2015, it was selected into “Shanghai Class I Peak Discipline Support Plan”. In 2017, it was ranked A+ in the discipline assessment and was selected as the national “Double First Class” academic discipline.

本學(xué)科覆蓋了機(jī)械制造及自動(dòng)化、機(jī)械設(shè)計(jì)及理論、機(jī)械電子工程和車輛工程等4個(gè)rr本學(xué)科設(shè)有制造技術(shù)與裝備自動(dòng)化、智能制造與信息工程、機(jī)器人、重大裝備設(shè)計(jì)與控制工程、生物醫(yī)學(xué)制造與生命質(zhì)量工程、機(jī)電控制與物流裝備、機(jī)電設(shè)計(jì)與知識(shí)工程、振動(dòng)沖擊噪聲、薄板結(jié)構(gòu)制造、智能汽車10個(gè)研究所。擁有機(jī)械系統(tǒng)與振動(dòng)國家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室、汽車電子控制技術(shù)國家工程實(shí)驗(yàn)室、振動(dòng)沖擊噪聲國防重點(diǎn)學(xué)科實(shí)驗(yàn)室,以及復(fù)雜薄板結(jié)構(gòu)數(shù)字化制造、網(wǎng)絡(luò)制造與企業(yè)信息化兩個(gè)上海市重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室。已形成175人的專職教師隊(duì)伍,包括院士2人、973首席科學(xué)家5人、國家特聘專家3人、長江特聘教授8人、杰青7人、優(yōu)青8人。學(xué)科中青年學(xué)術(shù)隊(duì)伍積極服務(wù)國家先進(jìn)制造領(lǐng)域發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略,在國內(nèi)外產(chǎn)生了重要影響。

Department of mechanical engineering covers 4 subdisciplines: mechanical manufacturing and automation, mechanical design and theory, mechatronic engineering, and vehicle engineering. There are 10 research institutes in the department, including Manufacturing Technology and Equipment Automation, Intelligent Manufacturing and Information Engineering, Robotics, Design and Control Engineering for Heavy Equipment, Biomedical Manufacturing and Life Quality Engineering, Mechatronics & Logistics Equipment, Mechatronics Design and Knowledge-based Engineering, Vibration, Shock & Noise, Manufacture for Thin-walled Structures, and Intelligent Vehicles. The main research laboratories in the department include the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical System and Vibration, the National Engineering Laboratory for Automotive Electronic Control Technology, the National Defense Key Discipline Laboratory of Vibration Shock & Noise, Shanghai Key Laboratory of Digital Manufacture for Thin-walled Structures, and Shanghai Key Laboratory of Networked Manufacturing and Enterprise Information.So far, there are 175 full-time faculty members, including 2 academicians, 5 Chief Scientists of National 973 Program, 3 National Distinguished Professors, 8 Cheung Kong Distinguished Professors, 7 Distinguished Young Scholars and 8 Outstanding Young Scholars.

本學(xué)科致力于培養(yǎng)具有“開闊的國際視野、強(qiáng)烈的創(chuàng)新意識(shí)、系統(tǒng)的知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)、綜合的實(shí)踐能力、團(tuán)隊(duì)的合作精神、自信的溝通能力”的機(jī)械工程學(xué)科高層次科學(xué)技術(shù)研究及管理人才。一百多年來,服務(wù)國家創(chuàng)新發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略和國家需求,培養(yǎng)了兩彈一星功臣錢學(xué)森、全國人大副委員長嚴(yán)雋琪等一大批技術(shù)專家和治國英才,其中兩院院士21人,大批培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在制造、動(dòng)力、能源、航空航天等重點(diǎn)領(lǐng)域行業(yè)擔(dān)任重要職務(wù)或技術(shù)骨干。

This department aims to cultivate outstanding talents in R&D as well as management in mechanical engineering, featured with "broad international vision, strong innovation consciousness, professional knowledge structure, comprehensive practical ability, team spirit and confident communication ability". In the past over 100 years, nearly 30,000 students have graduated from the department to serve the nation with innovation, research and development, including Tsien Hsue-shen, Yan Junqi, and 21 academicians. Many alumni have played important roles in key industries such as manufacturing, power, energy, and aerospace, etc.

二、培養(yǎng)目標(biāo) Program Objective

圍繞學(xué)校研究生人才培養(yǎng)的總體目標(biāo),培養(yǎng)數(shù)理基礎(chǔ)堅(jiān)實(shí)、知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)寬廣,專業(yè)領(lǐng)域知識(shí)精通,創(chuàng)新能力強(qiáng)、具備社會(huì)責(zé)任感、具有國際視野和國際競爭力的機(jī)械工程前沿領(lǐng)域?qū)I(yè)人才,能勝任高等教育專業(yè)教學(xué)、科學(xué)研究、技術(shù)研發(fā)和科技管理等工作。

學(xué)生畢業(yè)時(shí)應(yīng)達(dá)到:

1、具有扎實(shí)的數(shù)理基礎(chǔ)理論知識(shí),深入的機(jī)械工程相關(guān)方向基礎(chǔ)知識(shí),熟悉學(xué)科的進(jìn)展、動(dòng)向和最新發(fā)展前沿;

2、掌握解決工程問題的現(xiàn)代研究方法與實(shí)驗(yàn)技術(shù),具有應(yīng)用理論和方法對(duì)相關(guān)專業(yè)方向工程問題的理解和分析的能力;

3、具有較強(qiáng)的創(chuàng)新意識(shí),在本學(xué)科某一方向取得實(shí)踐性研究成果;

4能夠進(jìn)行中文交流,能熟練地閱讀本專業(yè)中英文資料,具有較強(qiáng)的寫作能力和進(jìn)行國際學(xué)術(shù)交流的能力;

5具備較強(qiáng)的學(xué)術(shù)素養(yǎng)和工程實(shí)踐能力,良好的職業(yè)道德和社會(huì)責(zé)任感。

The postgraduate education objective is focused on nurturing the talents with solid mathematical foundation, broad knowledge structure, high proficiency in a professional field, strong innovation ability, good sense of social responsibility, and global vision and competitiveness in the frontier of mechanical engineering. The postgraduates will be qualified for conducting teaching, research and management in universities, research institutions and industries.

Upon graduation, you will:

1. Have the excellent mathematical foundation, in-depth fundamental knowledge in mechanical engineering and related areas, and be familiar with the progress, trends and latest development of the discipline;

2. Master the modern research methods and experimental techniques to solve engineering problems, and have the ability to apply theories and approaches to understand and analyze technical engineering problems in related professional directions;

3. Have a strong sense of innovation, and get practical contribution in a specific area of the discipline;

4. Be able to communicate in Chinese, read Chinese and English literature of your major fluently, have good skills in writing and international academic communicating;

5. Have good academic accomplishment and engineering practice ability, professional ethics and social responsibility.

三、培養(yǎng)方式及學(xué)習(xí)年限 Training Mode and Study Duration

全日制國際碩士生采用全日制學(xué)習(xí)、導(dǎo)師負(fù)責(zé)制培養(yǎng)模式。

學(xué)制為二年半。未能按時(shí)完成學(xué)業(yè)者,經(jīng)申請批準(zhǔn)后其學(xué)習(xí)年限可適當(dāng)延長,最長可以延期至三年半。

Full-time International Academic Master Program students are tutored full-time by supervisors.

The length of Full-time International Academic Master Program is 2.5 years. Students who fail to complete the program within 2.5 years could apply for extension, with a maximum length of 3.5 years upon approval.

四、課程學(xué)習(xí)要求 Course Requirement

全日制國際碩士生,課程總學(xué)分≥23學(xué)分,其中:選擇GPA統(tǒng)計(jì)源的課程≥16學(xué)分,GPA≥2.7方可以進(jìn)行論文答辯。
       
Full-time International Academic Master Program. Minimum credits: 23 credits, including at least 16 credits from GPA courses. Students whose GPA of the GPA courses is above 2.7 are eligible for doctoral study.

        1. 公共基礎(chǔ)課程   12.5學(xué)分
           
General Courses. 12.5 credits.

       a. CHN6207 漢語,4學(xué)分,必修,符合條件可免修

            CHN6207 Chinese Language, compulsory. Exemption can be applied for qualified students.

       b. CHN0916 中國文化概論,2學(xué)分,必修
           CHN0916 Introduction to Chinese Culture, 2 credits, compulsory.

       c. FL6001 學(xué)術(shù)英語,2學(xué)分,必修
           FL6001 English for Academic Purposes, 2 credits, compulsory.

       d. GE6001學(xué)術(shù)寫作、規(guī)范與倫理,1學(xué)分,必修,院系開課
           GE6001 Academic Writing, Norms and Ethics, 1 credit, compulsory offered by ME school.

       e. GE6003 實(shí)驗(yàn)室安全教育,0.5學(xué)分,必修,院系開課

           GE6003 Laboratory Safety Education,0.5 credit, compulsory, offered by ME school.

       f. 數(shù)學(xué)課,數(shù)學(xué)公共基礎(chǔ)課至少修習(xí)1門、學(xué)分不限,必修

           Mathematics, compulsory.

       2. 專業(yè)前沿課:GE6011 學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告會(huì),1學(xué)分,必修

           Frontier Course.
           GE6011, Academic Seminar, 1 credit, compulsory.

       3. 專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)課:至少修習(xí)6學(xué)分
    
    Core Courses, at least 6 credits.

      五、培養(yǎng)過程要求 Training Requirement

開題報(bào)告:在第三學(xué)期起開題。開題報(bào)告要求就學(xué)位論文選題的科學(xué)根據(jù)、目的意義、研究內(nèi)容、預(yù)期目標(biāo)、研究方法和課題條件等做出論證,并由導(dǎo)師組織35位教授加以審核。

Thesis proposal: Thesis proposal work will start in the 3th semester, which requires an argument on the scientific basis, purpose and significance, research content, expected goals, research methods, and project conditions of intended thesis topic and shall be evaluated by 3 or 5 professors invited by supervisor.

年度報(bào)告(論文中期考核):在開題報(bào)告完成后,第四學(xué)期。由碩士生本人提交、導(dǎo)師給出評(píng)語、學(xué)科、學(xué)院審核。年度報(bào)告的形式也可以結(jié)合學(xué)術(shù)討論會(huì)或?qū)n}研究報(bào)告會(huì)進(jìn)行。年度報(bào)告的內(nèi)容含:1、已完成的論文工作、階段性成果。2、下一步工作內(nèi)容、擬發(fā)表論文計(jì)劃等。3、導(dǎo)師對(duì)已有工作的評(píng)價(jià)、以后工作的估計(jì)和指導(dǎo)。

Annual report (Thesis Project Intermediate Evaluation): The evaluation usually takes place in the 4th semester after thesis proposal gets passed. The report shall be submitted by students with supervisor’s given comments, which will go through the evaluation of each department and school as well. The format of the annual report can also be done in the form of academic discussion or symposium on selected topics. The contents of the annual report include: 1. Completed thesis-related work and periodic results. 2. The content of the next-phase work and plans on paper publications. 3. Supervisor's evaluation of the finished work, estimation and guidance of the future work.

論文答辯:在第五學(xué)期結(jié)束前后完成。論文答辯由一級(jí)學(xué)科統(tǒng)一組織,各一級(jí)學(xué)科推舉后15%的同學(xué)到學(xué)院層面上進(jìn)行二次答辯。

Thesis Defense: The defense shall be held before the end of 5th semester by the discipline. Those who ranks in the last 15% shall attend the second defense organized by school.

七、學(xué)位論文 Thesis/dissertation

1、學(xué)位論文的基本要求Basic Requirements

碩士學(xué)位論文,要求對(duì)所研究的課題有新見解或新成果,并對(duì)本學(xué)科發(fā)展或經(jīng)濟(jì)建設(shè)、社會(huì)進(jìn)步有一定意義,表明作者掌握堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)理論和系統(tǒng)的學(xué)科知識(shí),具有從事學(xué)術(shù)研究或擔(dān)負(fù)專門技術(shù)工作的能力。

The master students should choose topics related to the frontier field of the discipline or that of great significance to the progress of science and technology or economic and social development as their dissertation theme. The doctoral dissertation should demonstrate that the author is capable of undertaking scientific research independently and has a good grasp of the basic theories as well as a systematic and in-depth knowledge of the field of study.

學(xué)位論文必須是一篇系統(tǒng)的、完整的學(xué)術(shù)論文,是學(xué)位申請者本人在導(dǎo)師的指導(dǎo)下獨(dú)立完成的研究成果,論文不得抄襲和剽竊他人成果。學(xué)位論文的學(xué)術(shù)觀點(diǎn)必須明確,且立論正確,推理嚴(yán)謹(jǐn),數(shù)據(jù)可靠,層次分明,文字通暢。

A graduate dissertation shall be a systematic and complete academic paper, and should be completed by the applicant under the instruction of his/her supervisor. No cheating or plagiarizing is allowed. The graduate theses shall demonstrate clear academic insights, with accurate arguments, rigorous reasonings, reliable statistics, well-organized structures and fluent expressions.

2、學(xué)位論文的撰寫要求Format for Thesis

學(xué)位論文應(yīng)使用英文或中文撰寫,碩士學(xué)位論文字?jǐn)?shù)一般為45萬。學(xué)位論文中使用的術(shù)語、符號(hào)、代號(hào)必須全文統(tǒng)一并符合規(guī)范化要求。計(jì)量單位一律采用國務(wù)院發(fā)布的《中華人民共和國法定計(jì)量單位》。學(xué)位論文一般包括以下12部分,依次為封面、題名頁、扉頁、摘要、目錄、符號(hào)說明(非必須)、正文、參考文獻(xiàn)、注釋(非必須)、附錄(非必須)、致謝、學(xué)術(shù)論文和科研成果目錄。

        The thesis should be written in English or Chinese. The terms, symbols and codes used in the dissertation must be unified and conform to the requirements of standardization. All units of measurement shall adopt the "Statutory Unit of the People's Republic of China" promulgated by the State Council. The dissertation generally consists of the following 12 parts: cover, title page, flyleaf, abstracts, contents, List of Symbols (if necessary), main body, reference, annotation (if necessary), appendix (if necessary), acknowledgements, List of Publications and achievements.
